I often make things the way I do simply because I enjoy it. I may have processes that are not the most efficient, but I find enjoyment in the process, I may choose colors or fonts simply because I like them, and, as I said in the interest-based work section, I am much more productive when I work on things that I am interested in an enjoy doing.
