A lot of my work tends to be surrounded by the fact that I create systems for myself in my work, whether it’s in defining a typeface or choosing constraints and guidelines for me to design within. I need specific expectations for my projects to be successful, so, when I am not given external instructions, I tend to create systems that make sense for and define my work.
